Relief Prints
The simplicity of relief print making appeals to me and I enjoy the physical nature of cutting the plates. I use lino, plywood or thick millboard, dependent on the size and nature of the image. With lino, I have a set of cutters which I've had for years. A girlfriend sent me them from her travels in Hong Kong straight after college and I've never had to replace them. For other cutting I use a stanley knife, making two cuts at forty-five degrees to remove the material. I find these cheap knives handy and it's quick to change a blade when the edge goes off it.
